EEG Results for JME
The EEG findings for JME include four to five Hertz generalized spike wave discharges. You can see a photoperic sizmo response on EEG, and sometimes this will come up on the in-service examination. If you see flashing light stimulation followed by a sustained spike wave or poly spike wave discharge, that's the photomyogenic or photoperic Sizmo response. That is commonly seen in juvenile myoclinic epilepsy.
