The Future of Direct Sales in Indie Publishing
In 2022 more and more authors are going to get a larger portion of their income from direct sales. When you sell directly from your website, you don't have to pay a distributor any cut up the profits. And so it's a higher margin for the author. But I don't think direct sales will displace Amazon or Kobo or Apple.
