Lade: As we make more progress on anti racism as we become more racially integrated societies, it seems that we become more sensitive to racism. Lade: I think this is through a great extent understandable, because if you genuinely see yourself as a black American or black British person, then it makes sense why any kind of racist slight or microaggression is especially painful to you. But what I would say to emphasize the importance of optimism, and I am quite an optimistic person on these issues," he says.
