The US' Addiction to War

I think that the US, and this is after the end of the Cold War, that the US is addicted to war. And so that's what really scares me, is that China is just a distraction. The fact that people are talking about Cold War II makes me wonder like, what the hell happened? I'm acting at the premise that eventually that people will see reason and things will work out. But things are crazy, but I have this voice in the back of my head saying, look, eventually things will workout.
