Is the Fed Funds Rate Going to Hit 6?
Jamie Damaged: The market isn't expecting the interest rates to stay elevated for the entire year. He says if they come under a lot of pressure, I think that there's a pretty good chance that the Fed does peak out at about 5%. Damaged: If not, if the market continues doing what it's doing now, I think you could see 5.5, even 6%. "It's quite clear that J Powell wants to try to put the Fed put to death," he says.
