When i first became a christian as an evangelical kind of high school, i was saved and began to practise my faith in a pentecostal context. I can remember learning about the jewish contexts of passover, and how those on took on a bit of a new meaning in jesus celebration of the last supper. And then becoming catholic, of course, was another layer kind of added on to what all that meant. He went from symbolic to to a very literal thing happening here.
