The Importability of Maine in Go
The old go path used to, when you just do an import, used to look in all the go path folders for a PKG folder. So that's probably where it came from. And there is something aesthetic about just doing that. But one of the great things about importing things in Go, I think is the fact you see the full URL of the project often. It's a shame they don't match exactly for sub packages.
