The All or Nothing Situation in the Voting Rights Act
CNN's John Sutter says he thought the Supreme Court would just shave away parts of the Voting Rights Act. He says they decided not to do that in this case, which was written by a three-judge panel with two Trump appointees on it. Now we have to look at what happens next and see how plaintiffs can use hypothetical maps as evidence for their claims about voting rights under Section 2 of the VRA,.
