The Importance of a Long-Term Foundational Value of AI

I think the most common thing that I see people do is throw things in a dialogue or like a modal overlay which doesn't have a URL and so you there is no foundational way to get back to that new feature. So when you're forced to think about like maybe this should be in a settings page somewhere or as part of has an actual URL to it somewhere else that people can go back to and discover. It's a job of the designer to advocate for those longer-term bets I think. Yeah there's something weird happening in my head where I'm thinking about the equivalent of pace layers but for sort of human behavior and actually people's behavior with your interface is changed relatively slowly
