The UK Bond Market Imploded on Itself

The bond market has been inherently stable, unstable over the last many years that it has episodes of fits and starts. Liz Truss becomes the prime minister of the UK; she gets off to a terrible start. And then she announces her budget is an old style Reaganomics Maggie Thatcher budget. The British pound imploded on itself because if they're going to stimulate a 10% inflationary environment, I don't want anything to do with their currency or with their bond market.
