Is the Holy Ghost Speaking to You?

If the holy ghost is really telling you this, you should believe it. But how do you know it's the holy ghost? Follow saint paul's advice in first thessalonians five: test everything and then hold fast to what is good. I don't think there are reasons to be concerned about the future given the evidence we have so far.
