The Importance of Probation
In 1960 a hundred thousand dollars was equivalent in purchasing power to about nine hundred and nine thousand four hundred forty two dollars. Inflation is the craziest thing ever. And he got three years probation. For that's insane. Fell in. He theft. But it worked because his parole officers, the Missouri Board of Probation and the parole board wrote a letter saying that quote Robinson quote does not appear to be an individual who is basically inclined towards criminal activities. So they were like, you know what? Good job. Like you got a job. I think everything's fine.
