Kids with eigh ch day often have more empathy than the general population, but they don't always show it because of their difficulty responding in a way that's expect d to somebody. I have never gone through a school year where i haven't had a parent reach out to me and say, my son got into some serious trouble because he made a joke at the lunch table about blowing up the school.
