The Importance of Unanimity Among Church Fathers

Many church fathers were members of the magisterium, but not all. Church teaches that bishops must agree with moral unanimity on certain issues. It would not be sufficient for them to merely agree that something is true; they'd need to agree it must be held definitively by faithful.
