The Importance of Outspokenness in Art
I'm hoping that being able by producing these works that maybe it'll inspire a younger generation of students who perhaps in our school will be inspired to vocalize how they feel politically through their work and through their art. You've been very outspoken about the influence that your father has had on you. My father, his a Arro Blackman, he's a cartoonist and he's an illustrator and he's also a filmmaker and a kind of a terrorist and he's just a very outspoken liberal. I think he absolutely loved it. Everybody loves when their children work in your times. It seems like a real adult, legitimate job and it was my first so they were proud.
