The White House's Position on a Clean Debt Limit

McCarthy said there cannot be a clean debt limit. The minute you have anything real attached to it, then the entire White House argument that they're not going to give in for the debt limit is gone. And until the White House really shuts down those options, they start looming ever larger as we get closer to that cliff diving moment.
