You're Only Up 90 Seconds, Now What?

When you're working with adults, here's a little trick I'll give you. Don't ever tell them what's coming next because if you do, they will start thinking about it. By breaking up my speech with these three points of interaction, I'm actually teaching them to respond to me. And so it's this amazing, simple thing that you can do where you get the audience kind of eating out of the palm of your hand but you can't overdo it.
