The Importance of Tradition in Economics
I noticed a pattern for me in your essays is like, what ostensibly the topic is about liberals versus conservative in this, but actually turned out a thing about openness and tradition. So I said that tradition is downstream of beauty and that liberals are attracted to beauty and beautiful things. That's why I tend to hang out with liberals more, even though I disagree with them on economics. And so you're not really talking about the same conversation. You're having very, too, very different conversations most of the time.
