The Success of the Dignity Story

I'm pretty undecided on how plausible these stories are. I guess I play some weight or some, some credence on the possibility that pessimists like Elie as a Yucowski are right and that this kind of thing couldn't happen for one reason or another. So it makes more sense to act as if, as if we have a chance as if some of this stuff might work because our decisions and our actions just aren't super relevant in the pessimistic case. Does that sound like a sensible reasoning? It seems a little bit suspicious somehow. But I do actually feel that this, this success of dignity is just like a serious possibility.
