The Importance of Data in Health Care

"I didn't realize until I read your book that the military is where the government got most of its health data to do certain research with," he says. "That was a real light bulb moment for me was to understand the exclusion of people." He asks: Where does my information get to sit in the field and be protected from the government coming in and saying, we'll just going to look through it for a while and use it for all these noble purposes? How do we balance that?"
