The Great Recession and Trump's Recession
When EIG launched in 2015, it was concerned about the concentration of economic activity in a relatively small number of places. That really broke with the Great Recession where most places looked more or less like the national story. Trump certainly tapped into that and I think helped the rise of Trump help to change the conventional wisdom. When would you say when does EIG look at as like the Hausian nostalgic past? We try not to get too nostalgic around here, but this is what and I'll try not toget too funky either.
