The Waterfall Study on Fluid Resuscitation in Patients With Acute Pancreatitis

The waterfall study looked at aggressive versus moderate fluid resuscitation strategies in patients with acute pancreatitis. In the aggressive arm, they got about a liter and a half bolus and 200 an hour or so of fluids. The authors concluded that there doesn't seem to be a benefit from using an aggressive fluid strategy.
