The Moral Law of Abortion
Even on an issue in which there's such deep disagreement, you still have common moral principles shared between both positions. This is why a the catholic church teaches that even though objective morality is known by all, it is not perceived by every one clearly and immediately. In the present situation, sinful man needs grace and revelation. So moral and religious truths may be known by every rom of facility, with firm certainty and with no admixture of error. But that doesn't mean there is no moral law. It just means that human beings are a particular sort of creature. We're rational, we have reason. But we also are animals in the sense that we are organisms that are moved by emotions
