When JeVon McCormick was growing up in the slums of Dayton, Ohio, he regularly suffered from food insecurity, abuse, and racism. As he grew older, he took hold of the lessons he learned growing up in such a rough environment to run Scribe Media, a multimillion-dollar publishing company.
