If i publish on medium, i will get more views va medium and certainly more reads than i will by tweeding a link myself with almost two million followers on twitter. Why not just use twitter a facebook to distribute medium posts? You can. And clearly, like most of the internet, we get a tremendous amount of the distribution and traffic via those platforms as well as other large ones.
