There were still 15 to 20% of the genes in bats that have not been well characterized. The delayed poison ivy symptoms are due to a T cell response, which seems to be almost exclusive to humans. Benadryl is an H1 histamine receptor antagonist and works really well against bee stings or food allergies where you react vigorously right away.
