The Difference Between a Defendant and a Juror

A defendant who's on the stand, who truly shows raw, unbridled emotion, i think a jury, just being humans, that that has an impact that resinates with he juror. It's a very difficult we always say it's so rare to have a defendant take the stand. And yet, in a couple of high profile cases lately, we've seen the defendants take the stand and the jury still convicted her. But then you had kile rittonhouse taken the stand and got acquitted. So what makes the difference, defendant or case?
