CNN's John Sutter asks why people aren't buying cars in the face of inflationary spirals. One theory is that j powell has all this credibility, and i am not rushing out to peremptively buy cars because i feel credibly that the fed will not hesitate to enforce its average inflation targeting regime. But are we seeing any kind of reassessment of this in light of the fact that maybe the regulation cue theory was right all along? And, you know, is anyone up dating their priors? Or is everyone just kind of drawing the battle lines as they would have been drawn 50 years ago, and not or as they feel they should have been drawn50 years
