Good Code and Maintainable Code Are Not the Same Thing
Good code and maintainable code can be separate things, says Gopher. There is certainly a degree of subjectivity in the debate over whether or not good code should be used to build software. But i wouldn't say that those code wastes were unmaintainable, or like, weren't maintainable. I mean, under that, never mind, it's notin worth doing that.
