Tina Nguyen: Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise are saying publicly in the press that they don't really know what this group even wants or what they're really protesting. A lot of these members are affiliated with the group of 20 or 21 members who held up McCarthy's speakership back in January. No one really knows what was in the handshake deal between McCarthy and the 20 that allowed them to vote for him as speaker. The point of a secret handshake deal is that it's secret.
