The Intuitionless Movement Is a Uniquely American Phenomenon
I think it's a distinctively American phenomenon, albeit one that is increasingly global. I say in the book and I do stand by this that what the printed text was to, what the printing press rather was to the Protestant Reformation. The internet is to the SNE religious landscape. We are in a world where we are so used to kind of via algorithm, via our engagement with the internet landscape, taking control ownership over our environment. That word bespoke or curation comes up again. And I think that model, that model that I argue comes from as much from the internet fandom as it does from any traditional religious form or practice has really been democratized now.
