Your theology has to be, in some ways, tethered by what the text is actually saying in context. And not just proof texting, but reading it, you're actually doing exegesis of every text as you're reading it in context. So we can come to conclusions about things that are true of God. But that's different than saying we now know everything about God or we understand him exhaustively.
