DigitalOcean's First Standalone Project

This is the first standalone project that really had nothing to do with DigitalOcean itself. There were still considerations around what does this mean for the company, what are our obligations to shareholders and things like that before we go through a process like this. It was basically the company agreed to release it under Apache too - one of the more liberal open source licenses.
