A Nightmare in a Hostel

The girl wasn't just homesick, she hadn't had a nightmare or accidentally hurt herself somehow. She was distraught, completely and utterly distraught. Even today I remember it all like it was yesterday. When I think about it it plays out in my head like a movie, like I can watch myself in every scene. We'd visit a small cafe most evenings to try traditional French food. It was honestly a dream come true for me until one faithful morning when that beautiful galek dream turned into a nightmare,. none of us could have ever imagined.
