The Importance of Having a Split Brain in Engineering
If you know someone in your company who's like, just loves to do it all on a go getter and doesn't mind having that split brain of management and actual hands on work. That's another way to kind of find those people because yeah, I think people want to manage or they want to do the work. Trying to do both is just such a nightmare. So if you're hiring for a security manager, think of it as an engineering manager. What would you be looking for in that? And then work with folks that you know in the security industry to find what that mirror image might be.
