How to Create an AI Voice for Audiobooks on Apple's Platform
In 2023, Apple released a line of audiobooks that were narrated by AI voices. They use the voices of various artists from a company called Findaway to train that AI replacement voice. Publishing their audiobooks on Apple's platform also gave Apple the rights to use Findaway's files to train machine learning algorithms. It was a clause in the terms and conditions.
