The Class Compromism of the Working Class
Mark O'Mara: Would you agree with a kind of what I think is a simplified version of his thesis? And he's not the only one who has this, which is essentially that you had this kind of class compromise, say 1945 to 73. He says it was a good period for the working class and maybe something that we should go back to. John Avlon: No, I do agree. I mean, I think I'm a class Compromiser. But ultimately, I don't see the solution in a in a classless society or in a total takeover by one class of means of production.
