The Lockdown of the Pembroke Courthouse

Real estate agent Kathy Pitts was scheduled to meet Carol Kelletton at the Lake Cottage that morning. When she arrived, a window was smashed and the door looked like it had been kicked open. The OPP decided to put the local Pembroke Courthouse on lockdown as a precaution. Natalie's 18-year-old daughter Valerie was at high school at the time of the lockdown. She instinctively knew that Basil Baruitski was somehow involved. Not long after, she was given the tragic news that her mother had died.
