The Role of Religion in Caste Discrimination
The commission that has been set up to look into this issue. Do you feel that they should take into considerations these other forms of caste hierarchy that exist in these religions? Let me first clarify on the point raised by my colleagues. I think there is no theological difference between Buddhism and Sikhism on the one hand and Christianity and Islam on the other hand. All the four religions believe in equality. So there is no difference so we cannot draw that difference.
