Is There a Future Age in St. Maximus?
The future age means after the general resurrection. But I would argue that with an orthodoxy that that is a later addition, he says. He's just talking about those at the end of their lives. Some go to heaven and some will be judged through fires and purified. And it's very clear they're going to compare the good and evil deeds.
