Should You Pay Off Your Credit Card Debt or Bankruptcy?

i worked for this em financial adviser years ago, and they told me that they don't like people going through bankruptcy. They'd rather people slowly and painfully pay off their credit card debt than go through bankruptcy and get their debt absolved. And so i understand that sentiment ofn I'm not talking buth just like i'm saying, generally speaking, i'm not talking about critic hard debt, or any kind of debt.
