In terms of what sort of ideas are needed, I don't think the UK isn't going to become an economy run by libertarians. What we need is things which are not particularly libertarian - such as more investment in infrastructure and a childcare strategy. But there's plenty on the sort of growth agenda that needs to be pursued,. Whether this government has either the political will or the ability to address some of these issues is very much in question.
