Is It All in the Mind, or Is the Body This Diah?
A lot of patients in our trial, when they were taking sugar tablets, felt so bad that they had to temporarily come off the tablets just for a bit of respite. This is mind blowing? Yes, absolutely. We would not want anyone to think that we are saying our patients are making it up. They were truly suffering. But what's also so interesting is if you spend the time to sit down with your patients and talk to them about their side effects and explain the naciba effect to them, it seems to make a big difference. Because half of the patients in our trial,. were able to go back on statins six months later.
