What Would Working Look Like?

Right-wingers say liberalism has failed, and they want to go back to business as usual. What would working look like if the government had total power? This is one of these things that some on the right have talked about a lot. But i don't think that's realistic. And then there is like aat should only look at things that are actually in reality. So what do we see?
