Being broad is what helps build a pattern by the sound of things, right? It's that basically. And it's both go broad because humpbacks can teach you something about bats or orcas - and also get specific about specific species. We're doing a big project right now with Christian roots on tool using crows where there are sensors that sit on the crows that record not just audio but how the crows are moving. The degree to which acoustic information is encoded into sound conveyed between different organisms is much more diverse and far reaching than we had ever thought.
