I don't think that there's any meaning making of this. And as the head of griffendore house, i think it's really important that she have versation with them about being brave does not mean being this stupid. Not much from the first book leads these children to believe that adults actually can be counted on to rescue them when things get bad. But in general, they feel like if, if there's a crisis, adults either not oing to be there in time or not going to do the right thing.
