The History of Richard Sharp Adventures
Cornwall writes to a formula. This bugs me rifles, Waterloo Eagle and the India trilogy are the most interesting. I tend to get bored when sharp spends the other titles wrapped up in some stupid treasure hunt or cat and mouse game with a Frenchman. But it sounds like if, you know, it's the red wall series was this for me as well. They're not literary masterpieces, but they're not garbage.
