What Are Your Views on the NJAC?
The National Judicial Appointments Commission or NJAC was struck down by the Supreme Court in October 2015. The law provided that any two persons in the commission can disagree on an appointment. Effectively this meant that the two so-called eminent persons could override the view of the three judges, he says.
