The Importance of Institutional Trading in Stock Markets
Institutions tend to like to buy stocks at the 50-day moving average. The steeper the pullback, the way I look at it is, the less support you're seeing. If there's real widespread demand for a stock, you don't see four or five red candles with the clothes near the intraday low in a row. Now there may be a big buyer down below with open arms.
