The Lord's Glory Is Upon You
My Son, perform your tasks in meekness. Then you will be loved more than a giver of gifts. No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the Lord. Water extinguishes a blazing fire, so almsgiving a tones for sin. Whoever repays favors gives thought to the future. At the moment of his falling, he will find support.
